PICCO-STUDIO production ltd is a Germany and Cyprus based film production company, focused on contemporary narration and highly political relevant topics. We take an effort for advanced storytelling, deep character focused fictional world creating from arthouse film to mainstream series.
We involve contemporary techniques of narration coming from theatre, fairytales, psychology and creative non-linear structures of all kinds, involving postdramatic art forms on highest quality levels.

Our film projects were selected, nominated and award at around 50 international film festivals. Our short films are mostly distributed by GONELLA PRODUCTIONS, Marseille (worldwide) as well for online streaming.
We work 21th century-wise, integrating modern technology and contemporary storytelling, involving actually relevant media on any kind of platform.

TEAM
Andrés Jauernick works worldwide as LINE PRODUCER and EXECUTIVE PRODUCER; he also teaches in Spanish as a visiting professor at the Catholic University of La Paz. After completing his professional education, Andrés became interested in organizational and economical aspects of film producing and worked as 3rd ad, unit and production manager, line producer and executive producer throughout Europe, Africa, Latin America, Canada and the USA. In 2016 he was responsible for the filming of Star Wars VIII — The Last Jedi for LUCASFILM in the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia. Most recently, he worked on AND TOMORROW THE ENTIRE WORLD (Oscar Nomination) and KUNG FURY 2. In 2022 he worked as supervising producer on Pagan Peak III for SKY.
Jan-Stephan Schmieding was born in Oberhausen in 1975. While studying English, politics and history at the University of Bonn, he staged Shakespeare in the original English several times. From 2007 to 2011 he worked as artistic production manager for the Salzburg Festival. He worked as a dramaturge at the Konzert-Theater Bern and the Schauspielhaus Graz. In addition to Picco-Studio, Jan-Stephan Schmieding continues to work as a dramaturge at Schauspiel Köln; 2024/25 he is co-leading chief dramaturge there.
Born 1972 in Mödling, Austria, Wolfgang Schlögl is established as musician, composer, curator and speaker in the fields of pop music, contemporary classic, improvisation and creative concept. From 1997 till 2014 he was member of the experimental pop group Sofa Surfers. He composes film music for feature and tv-series produced by ORF. Schlögl teaches at FHSTP (St. Pölten) a master class "Film- and Media production".
Roland Koch was born 1959 in Uezwil. He studied psychology, philosophy, and ethnology at the University of Zurich and attended the Zurich Drama School from 1981 to 1985. Since 1999, he has been a permanent member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater in Vienna. He has received multiple nominations for the Johann Nestroy Theater Prize, winning in 2015 for Best Supporting Actor. Since October 2018 he has been a university professor at the Max-Reinhardt-Seminar in Vienna.
Rebecca Heims was born in Mainz in 1996. Winner of the 2017 German Young Authors' Award in the poetry/drama category and Rhineland-Palatinate Poetry Slam runner-up in 2018. Guest at the 2018 International Literature Festival in Berlin as part of the Berliner Festspiele's young talent programme. She currently lives and works in Düsseldorf and Mainz.
